about Garden Futures...

Garden Futures Limited was formed in 2000 around Dorchester by David Barton and Kit Benwell.

David has 24 years experience working within the construction industry, starting as a carpenter and joiner before studying horticulture at Kingston Maurward College.

Kit has a background in sports ground maintenance, before going on to study design.

Our company has close links with Holme Nurseries, near Wareham and we have completed several projects with them.

The majority of our work originates from client recommendations or through introductions from Holme Nurseries.

Public gardens created by Garden Futures include the
Upwey Wishing Well Jubilee Gardens.

Purbeck stone features in a number of our designs in the form of dry stone walling, rock gardens etc. this is sourced from Keates' Quarries at Worth Matravers.
